Let's take a little stroll down Memory Lane and see if  you remember these...

45 RPM Records?

I remember how I couldn't wait to go to the music store to get the new releases, and they cost less than $1.00 .

Record players?

What else would you play those 45's on?  I remember once when I was sick, and my Aunt wouldn't let me out of the bed to change the records.  She came into my room to change each song.

Jukeboxes?

I remember how my Daddy would always give me a quarter to play the jukebox, and you got three songs for that quarter!  I still love jukeboxes!

Ice Cream Cones?

Of course, we all remember these!  They're still around today.  But...do you remember when it was safe enough to walk to the store and get one for just 25 cents?

And how about peanuts in your Coke?

My Uncle taught me to do this, and I still do it!  *smile*  And...we can't forget about Coca-Cola, after all, it's the Real Thing!   And...Things Go Better With Coke!

Saddle Oxfords?

I never got to wear these shoes, except to dress up for 50's parties; but aren't they the cutest?

American Bandstand?

I loved watching Dick Clark & American Bandstand every Saturday!

The Twist?

This has got to be one of my all-time fave dances!

Carhops?

That was a big treat for us when my Mom took us out to eat, and we ate in the car!  We loved those Hamburger Baskets!  And...you can still see the carhops at Sonic Drive-Ins throughout Texas.

The Drive-In?

This was another big treat for us when Mom would take us to see a movie at the Drive-In!  We'd swing on the swings at the front of the theater, watch the cartoons, then the movie.  And...sometimes, we even brought a blanket to lay on or sit on while we watched the movie.  Those were fun times!

Rock 'N Roll?

No, true rock 'n roll!  Don't get me wrong, I love many of the sounds today, but my all-time fave will always be the great music of the 50's & 60's!

Elvis?

Oh yeah!  If you're talking  rock 'n roll, then you must be talking about the king of rock 'n roll!  Elvis was the greatest, and he still is!  Elvis Lives!

Hope you had fun strolling down Memory Lane with me!  There's nothing like a blast from the past!
